BJ’s Eagle Scout project has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 22 at 6:30 PM at Briarwood Circle in Fort Mill and will wrap up by 8:30 PM. We will be staining and painting, so wear work clothes.

The Eagle Scout Leadership Project of Collins (BJ) scheduled for Saturday, July 17th has been postponed due to illness in his family.

Alex M. will receive his Eagle Scout Award at Unity Presbyterian Church at 5pm on Saturday, July 17th, 2010.
All scouts are encouraged to attend in full uniform to support and recognize Alex’s achievement.
Collins (BJ) Helms needs the help of three scouts on two separate days for the first phase of his Eagle Scout Leadership Project.
On Saturday, July 10th at 10am we will work to trim bushes around an existing sign. Then we will gently power-wash the sign. Please come prepared to get wet. We will wrap up around noon.
On Saturday, July 17th at 10am we will return to the same sign and sand and stain it. We will wrap up around noon.
The project site is on the right near the end of Holbrook Rd. off of Doby Bridge Road in Fort Mill.
Cold bottled water and snacks will be provided.

Troop 108’s youth leaders have elected not to meet on July 5th since the group just returned from summer camp on July 3rd. Our next regular Troop meeting will be on July 12th.
Within a couple of hours the scouts and leaders of Troop 108 will be arriving home from a week filled with fun and adventure at Camp John J. Barnhardt.
Pickup will be at the scout hut and not the Bi-Lo parking lot.

Happy Birthday today to Troop 108’s Scoutmaster, David Harllee, who seems to celebrate his birthday during summer camp almost every year.
Troop 108 is halfway through the week at Camp John J. Bardhardt and tonight was family night with visitors dropping in for a while and lots of fun.

Reports are that things are better at camp now that the temperature has dropped and there has been some rain in the area. Hopfully our scouts and leaders will have a strong finish to the week.
