Summer Camp Medical Forms are due by Monday’s Meeting on June 25th.
- We must have parts A, B & C completed and there must be a date on the Tetanus Shot. The camp will not accept “Current” or “Current for School” in the Tetanus area due to BSA National requirements. (A link to the form, in PDF format, is located below)
- Please also make sure that we have a current copy of your insurance card.
- We will not be able to collect any Medical Forms on the day we depart for Camp. We have to make extra copies and bind all materials and we will not be able to do this on-site.
- If you have any questions, please contact Steve Finch, Troop Committee Chairman, by going HERE and selecting “Troop Committee Chairman” as the recipient of your message.
Corey C. will be working on his Eagle Scout project this coming Saturday and Sunday (June 16th and 17th) from 8am until 11am at the Nation Ford High School student parking area (A.O Jones Blvd, Fort Mill, SC). Corey’s project entails creating a concrete sidewalk where there is currently just a short dirt path.
Scouts who need service hours or just want to come and help should come dressed for dirty work. It would be helpful to bring gloves, water bottle, sun screen, hat, sunglasses and insect repellent.
If you’d be interested in helping out another scout who would appreciate your help on his Eagle project, call Corey at 803-230-2386.
Our scouts had fun at what turned out to be more “game” than “movie” night. Everyone enjoyed the pizza and a few scouts and the adults enjoyed the movie “Tin Tin”.

2012-06-06 Camp Bud Schiele Roster & Schedules
The Troop will be leaving from the Scout Hut on Friday evening May 25th at 6:30pm sharp for the Bagwell Farm camping trip. We will be returning to the Scout Hut on Saturday afternoon May 26th at 5:00pm.
The Scouts will have the opportunity to participate in adult supervised Shotgun shooting (age appropriate) and Archery on Saturday morning and work on a service project for Mr. Bagwell on Saturday afternoon.
The Scouts need to arrive at the Scout House on Friday by 6:00 with their gear, permission slips and payment. Scouts also need to eat supper Friday prior to arrival as the Troop will not be able to stop on the way. The Troop will cook breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
The cost for this event is $25 to cover the cost of shooting materials and food.
Permission slip attached must be completed prior to arrival on Friday.

Tonight we continue our study of disabilities with the Disabilities Awareness merit badge. Tonight we will have a speaker so please be sure to be on your best behavior and bring your worksheets to the scout meeting
Troop Leadership will be making a decision on the Bagwell Farm outing at the Troop meeting on Monday May 21st based on Scout participation.
We will consider three options for this outing:
· Friday – Saturday
· Saturday – Sunday
· Saturday only
Pease try and have a firm decision on if you will attend by Monday’s meeting.
Troop 108 began a two week study in disability awareness lead by Pat Hunter.
Tonight the boys worked through stations that simulated visual, audible, ambulatory and other disabilities.
Any scouts that signed out camp cards for sale to raise money to go to Boy Scout camp this summer, should return any unsold cards and five dollars for each card sold on Monday, May 14, 2010 at the troop’s regular meeting.
