Duke Energy Catawba Nuclear Station Campout
Duke Energy will be offering 3 energy-related merit badges at a campout on the grounds of Catawba Nuclear Station on May 22-24, 2009. This event is limited to twelve boys from our troop on a first-come first-served basis and preference will be given to older scouts first (because of maturity levels needed to be on-site at the station as well as because these badges are more difficult and not offered often).
Please see the links below to read more about the event and to print and have the parents sign the release of liability form that is requred of all attendees. Scouts should provide these signed forms and $15 to the Scoutmaster no later than the May 18th troop meeting.
Scouts need to let Scoutmaster David Harllee know ASAP if they would like to participate in this event.
