Troop On Display 2013

We had a great Troop On Display event at Unity Presbyterian Church today.   We set up a few of our tents, displayed one of our two equipment trailers, our Mad River Canoes and their trailer and our newly donated troop tipi.

The tipi was quite an attention grabber as travelers on Tom Hall Street often did a double-take as they passed by.  Many thanks to Mr. Don Osmond for the donation of the tipi and poles to the troop.  We will get a lot of use out of it in the years to come.

We had several visitors stop by and see the troop and our equipment and our scouts had a great time starting some merit badges, cooking and eating and playing football in the church’s front yard.
