Quartermaster Room Workday Planned
We will be having a troop housecleaning day this Saturday, August 18th, from 8am until noon’ish at the Scout Hut. This would be for all troop & patrol quartermasters and anyone else who would like to help get our supplies in order for the upcoming year.
We will be doing the following:
- Going through patrol boxes to see what we need and don’t need.
- Going through the trailer to find out what needs to be on there and what doesn’t.
- Setting up every tent completely to see what is needed to get to make it 100% usable.
- Making sure that each tent has parts with the same number on them.
- Going through the closet to organize the clutter and to make it accessible for everyone.
- Making a list of what the troop needs are.
This would be a great time for the boys’ to speak up and let the leaders know what they think the troop needs (realistically of course).
As you can imagine, the more the merrier for Saturday. Boys will earn service hours for their time on this project.
