Eagle Candidate Still Needs Your Help On May 2nd

Brent Lowney will be working on the second half of his Eagle Scout project on Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 at 1pm.

Brent’s project consists of building and placing six benches around the Anne Springs Close Greenway for visitors to enjoy. Three benches were already placed into position at the April 18th, 2010 workday.

Those interested in helping should show up at the Bruce Rush Pavillion near the nature center dressed in work clothes at 1pm (an hour earlier than last time). Please bring gloves to protect your hands. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity to help an Eagle Scout candidate out with his project and earn some service hours toward your own next rank advancement.
