Merit Badge College 2010

Don’t miss out on the 2010 York District Merit Badge College.   Just like last year, all class instruction will be completed within a single session (morning or afternoon), and based around theme days.

Session Dates: Classes will be held Saturday, February 13, February 20 and February 27, 2010.

Scout Registration: Scouts should use the sheet they received at the November 30th meeting to make their merit badge class selections (you can download a copy here) and return the completed form to the December 7th meeting with your payment made out to Troop 108.

Cost: The cost will be $2 per merit badge plus $5 for each lunch (optional).     Lunch will consist of a sub, bag of chips, cookie and soda.     Sub choices will be Ham (2-13-10); Turkey (2-20-10); and Roast Beef (2-27-10).     Lunches must be pre-ordered with the MB registration.

What We Expect: Scouts will be strongly encouraged to read the Merit Badge Booklet and finish all pre-requisites before attending the Merit Badge College. The MBC instructors gladly provide this opportunity for advancement as a service to the Scouts of the York District. We expect the behavior of all attending to exemplify Scouting Spirit and Values.
