Scouting For Food – Bag Distribution on Nov 7th

On November 7th the streets of America will be flooded with scouts of all ages distributing grocery bags or fliers reminding everyone that a week later on November 14th we will return to take their donations of food and non-perishable items to the local food bank.

Troop 108 always takes our collected donations directly to the Fort Mill Care Center on Banks Street in Fort Mill.  

The troop will meet at the Scout Hut at Unity Presbyterian Church at 9am on November 7th to head out into Fort Mill.   Traditionally, Troop 108 has covered the Whiteville Park , Huntington Farms and Briarwood neighborhoods.   Oher scouting units such as our little brothers, Pack 108, will be working other parts of the community.

We will gather again at 9am on November 14th to pick up the donated food items.

Don’t forget that those scouts needing the 5-mile compass hike for Second Class will be departing the Scout Hut for the ASC Greenway right after bags have been distributed.
