BSA Medical Form Reminder / Update

All Scouts attending Summer Camp must have BSA Medical Forms parts A,B and C (Doctor signed camp physical). The Troop also recommends that all forms be completed at the same time (Date) to help ensure our records are accurate.

Medical forms can be obtained at http://www.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/part_c.pdf .

We will be on site at the swim test Monday at the Baxter YMCA to collect completed forms and we will be at the Scout House on Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:00 if required.

We do not have the ability to collect and process medical forms on the day we leave for camp so all forms must be turned in by Wednesday June 26th.

Help Needed For Eagle Project

Andrew White is working on his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project on June 22nd  beginning at 8AM and could really use your help.  The work is being done on the Anne Springs Close Greenway near the horse barn on Horse Road off of Hwy 160.  If you’re on Hwy 160 coming from the intersection with Hwy 21 headed toward Fort Mill, turn left just past the field on your left onto Horse Road.  From downtown Fort Mill on Hwy 160 headed toward Interstate 77, turn right onto Horse Road just past the Community Presbyterian Church.  Either way, bear left immediately after turning onto Horse Road to avoid accidentally going toward the White Homestead rather than the horse barn.

The scouts will be building a causeway over a section of trail.  This weekend we will be digging out the mud on the path and carrying the side poles into place.  Be prepared for hot weather and bring a lunch.  Please bring a shovel and do NOT forget to bring your work gloves.

Andrew really appreciates your help.  If you have any questions, please call Andrew at (803) 493-4923.
