Solar Eclipse Event @ Camp Barstow In Columbia in August 2017
That’s right—a Total Eclipse is coming and it won’t happen again here until 2054! Camp Barstow, near Columbia, will be the best place in all of South Carolina for viewing the event.
Registration open to Scouts and families either as part of the all weekend event or just for the eclipse event on August 21. The weekend event includes solar themed crafts and activities, STEM NOVA, merit badges and awesome experiences. Visiting Eclipse Experts, University Experiments— A Total Eclipse Adventure!
Weekend Pass includes – meals, patches, programs and safety glasses
Day Pass includes – patch, lunch and safety glasses
Event Dates:
Weekend Event – AUGUST 19-21, 2017 ($60 per person for early-bird participants then $75 per person once early-bird registration ends [that date not indicated on the website])
Eclipse Event Day Pass – August 21st, 2017 ($40 per person)
Note that there will be No late registrations accepted
