{"id":3266,"date":"2013-06-18T10:16:59","date_gmt":"2013-06-18T14:16:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fmtroop108.com\/?p=3266"},"modified":"2013-06-18T10:28:47","modified_gmt":"2013-06-18T14:28:47","slug":"summer-camp-packing-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.fmtroop108.com\/?p=3266","title":{"rendered":"Summer Camp Packing List"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Summer Camp Packing List<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" id=\"il_fi\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pbskids.org\/itsmylife\/images\/summercamp4.gif?resize=195%2C175\" width=\"195\" height=\"175\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The list below is a good start for the things that a typical scout will need while at camp.\u00a0 You should also consult your scout handbook and think about any other items that you might need while enjoying your week at Camp Bob Hardin.<\/p>\n<h3>Sleeping Items:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Sleeping bag (in stuff sack or black garbage bag)<\/li>\n<li>Pillow and pillow case<\/li>\n<li>Foam pad, if desired<\/li>\n<li>Blankets, if desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Personal needs:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunblock (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Insect repellent (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Flashlight and extra batteries\/bulb (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Clothesline and clothespins<\/li>\n<li>Canteen or water bottle (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Toothbrush<\/li>\n<li>Toothpaste<\/li>\n<li>Cup<\/li>\n<li>Washcloths<\/li>\n<li>Towels<\/li>\n<li>Soap<\/li>\n<li>Deodorant<\/li>\n<li>Medications and permission slips (turn in upon arrival at Bi-Lo before leaving)<\/li>\n<li>Boy Scout Handbook (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Notebook, pencils (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Money for trading post (some in your daypack the rest locked in your footlocker)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Clothing:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Shirts &#8211; uniform shirt and scouting or plain T-shirts<\/li>\n<li>Uniform pants\/shorts<\/li>\n<li>Jeans<\/li>\n<li>Shorts<\/li>\n<li>Underwear<\/li>\n<li>Socks &#8211; plenty of extra socks<\/li>\n<li>Sleepwear<\/li>\n<li>Rainwear, poncho or rainsuit (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Sweatshirt or jacket for chilly nights\/mornings<\/li>\n<li>Hat with brim<\/li>\n<li>Boots and\/or sneakers (2 pairs if possible)<\/li>\n<li>Bathing suit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Extras:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Folding pocket knife (in your daypack &#8211; must have Toten Chip)<\/li>\n<li>Map compass (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Sunglasses (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Items needed for merit badges (in your daypack)<\/li>\n<li>Folding Chair\/Stool<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Also Needed:<\/h3>\n<p>You will need a footlocker and a day pack to hold\u00a0all the above items for transport to camp, storage while at camp, and transport home.\u00a0\u00a0 All items except the sleeping bag, folding chair and\u00a0daypack\u00a0should fit in the footlocker.
