Scouts BSA Troop 108, Fort Mill, SC
In anticipation of the snowy weather that is forecast for the Fort Mill area for this weekend, we are postponing the scheduled court of honor by one week to December 17th, 2018.
We hope that you all will stay safe and help others during the wintery weather.
All scouts and parents are encouraged to attend this special ceremony to celebrate our scout’s achievements.
Parent’s meeting @ 6:30pm in the Historic Sanctuary.
Court of Honor begins @ 7pm in the same location.
Scouting families are encouraged to bring finger foods/ 2-liter drinks for refreshments following the Court of Honor
Troop 108 will hold its Winter Court of Honor on December 18th at 7pm in the Historic Sanctuary at Unity Presbyterian Church. Note that we will have a parent meeting in the Historic Sanctuary beginning at 6:30pm to talk about exciting upcoming activities and opportunities.
We will hold a time of fellowship and food immediately following the Court of Honor. Families are asked to sign up for and bring an item to be left in Unity Hall prior to to the Court of Honor. Sign up for an item to bring by clicking HERE.
Courts of Honor are a special time for us to publicly recognize the work that our scouts have done during the past 6 months.

Tonight we gather to celebrate our scout’s achievements since December of last year. There has been much growth and advancement of which we can be proud, and which needs to be recognized.
Here are some important reminders for tonight:
Our District Executive, Alec Surrett, will be joining us tonight as a special guest and a featured speaker about Friends of Scouting and the impact that supporting the scouting program in this way makes in our community.
Troop 108’s Spring Court of Honor will be held at Unity Presbyterian Church Historical Sanctuary on May 23rd. The Parent Meeting begins at 6:30pm and the Court of Honor begins @ 7pm.
Refreshments will follow the ceremony in Unity Hall.
We will have our Court of Honor this coming Monday, December 14th, in Unity Presbyterian’s Historic Sanctuary.
Our parent meeting and “Q&A” will start at6:30pm, followed by the Court of Honor at 7pm.
If everyone could bring a finger food of some type for the reception that follows, that would be great. Leaders are providing drinks.

The Troop 108 winter Court of Honor is scheduled for Monday, December 8th. Please plan to join us in the old sanctuary to celebrate all of the boy’s achievements. They all have been working hard and we know that you will be surprised by how much they have accomplished since last spring.
There will be a parent meeting that will start at 6:15pm and the Court of Honor will follow at 7:00. We will be discussing troop business, including summer camp plans, and announcing some exciting changes in troop leadership.
Please plan to bring finger foods to share. The troop is providing desert.
